in chapter 3 the thing that i remember most is the huge difference between the coast indians and the plain indians. what i learned is that they have both similarities and differences. a difference could be that the coast people eat fishies and the plain indians eat dirt worms and all that when the times are tough.

the arabian peninsula is a vast piece of land that is surounded on three sides by water. it has a total of four climates on different parts of the land. if you live on the coastal plain, you should try: irrigating, farming, storing water in hollowed out trees, trading with whatever you may have that you can afford to lose, and/or building houses out of mud bricks and clay. if you live in an oasis, then you should try making date palms a very valuable resource. the bark can be used for shelter or clothing and dates are really good nutrients and they taste ok too
. for the mountains, terraces are always a great idea for farming, and again: irrigation is very helpful to the people that you live with. for the nomads in the desert, lightweight clothing is a fantastic idea to beat the heat. camels are excellent travelers in climates like the desert and are great food if youve got extra.

this trimester i did a pretty good job in school. i learned how to complete math problems that involve integers and graph the inequallities. i also learned scientific notation. so far in LA i have learned how to generate yellows and how to “go with thetopic”. in science I’ve learned all about the different rocks in the Grand Canyon and how to do speedy note taking. lastly, in social studies, I’ve learned about life in the middle ages, which included feudalism and the rising power of the church over hundreds of years. I’ve also mapped Europe, and learned about how people in ancient life got around in the European layout in the surrounding area.
